We were using Centos 7. I have now installed Fedora and will it a try.
I have seen the Development work flow link, but I downloaded the code from the Gluster forge and tried to compile it locally. May be I will try to setup the git and get the code through it this time.
And yes we have registered to the Gluster FS mailing lists (user and dev).

What is the OS you are using for development?
Would recommend Fedora 21 as you can easily find required rpm via "yum" i.e "yum search " and "yum install".
(This recommendation is only from personal use :) ...)

Hope you'r doing good. I and Srikanth had attended GFS meetup in Bangalore
and spoke to you in detail regarding cache tiering in GFS (after the meetup
session).
In order to continue our interest in GFS, we spent time configuring and
exploring GFS. We were able to configure GFS volumes on our laptop. We
further wanted to dig in to the architecture details for our better
understanding and also help us to contribute for the same, however we could
