Unsure.  Perhaps a missing dependency on the slave VM?  Just tested
this out on a different slave VM, and that had the same problem.
(at least it's consistent)

Looking at this failure on the NetBSD 6.x Rackspace VM, it fails in
the same area of code (rpc/xdr/src/).  No idea if it's related, as
it's for a different patch set... but it's an unusual co-incidence
if not. ;)
