Compile error on OSX about XATTR_USER_PREFIX

Hi Harsha,

Just hit this compile error on OSX 10.8 using the latest nightly
tarball for 3.6.0 branch.  Doesn't happen with master branch though.

Guessing there's a patch needing backporting?
