There are actually two Python pieces, not counting Swift. ;) One is a set of Python bindings for libgfapi; the other is a "meta-translator" that supports writing translator logic in Python. Both are woefully incomplete, and the libgfapi glue is probably out of date as well. As far as release status, the libgfapi glue is in master, but glupy is only in my own GitHub repository. One of my plans for downtime during this extended road trip is to spend some of my spare moments in airports and hotels bringing these bits up to date. It's a good task for that, because - unlike e.g. fixing bugs deep inside AFR - it doesn't require deep concentration for long periods of time. Like writing short stories instead of novels. ;)
