Hello Andreas,



  I can see at least one issue in here.  On the server 
side you're sharing a brick called "www-io-threads";

   volume server
     type protocol/server
     [...]
     subvolumes www-io-threads
     [...]
   end-volume


  But on the client side you're trying to mount a brick
called "www";

   volume www-server2
     type protocol/client
     [...]
     option remote-subvolume www
   end-volume


When these match up, it may work, or the server log
may get more interesting ;-)
