Files mode 01000 in the backend?

Hi

I notice an oddity on the backends: for many files, I have an empty shadow
file with mode 01000 on the other dht brick:

$ ls -l /export/*/usr/src/gnu/dist/texinfo/m4/Makefile.in
---------T  1 root  wheel      0 Jul 19 05:08
     /export/wd1a/usr/src/gnu/dist/texinfo/m4/Makefile.in
-rw-r--r--  1 root  wheel  10403 Sep  2  2008
     /export/wd3a/usr/src/gnu/dist/texinfo/m4/Makefile.in

The file have indeed been handled by glusterfs:

getextattr -x trusted.gfid /export/*/usr/src/gnu/dist/texinfo/m4/Makefile.in
/export/wd1a/usr/src/gnu/dist/texinfo/m4/Makefile.in
   000   97 03 30 72 7e 52 4c de b0 8a 6b 42 43 f8 bf 30    ..0r~RL...kBC..0
/export/wd3a/usr/src/gnu/dist/texinfo/m4/Makefile.in
   000   97 03 30 72 7e 52 4c de b0 8a 6b 42 43 f8 bf 30    ..0r~RL...kBC..0

Is that a bug or a feature? :-)
