I tried mounting the "invisible" bricks without the other ones, by
copying the volfile, removing the dht xlator and reference to bricks
that work fine. 

In such a mount, the files show up with ls(1). Of course I have only
half of my volume, since the working bricks were removed. That suggests
something wrong with dht.

Here are trusted.glusterfs.dht values. How should this be readen, by the
way?
