Just a suggestion, but maybe we can label releases as rc once it has
been tested by the dev team but not by the community at large.
That way the more conservative deployments can feel better and we know
what we're getting into.
That being said I find 2.0.9 to be rock solid in all the situations I've
tried.

No, 3.0.x isn't stable yet. 3.0.0 reliably crashes out for my use case
within minutes, and 3.0.1 was declared DOA (even though it actually
lasts about 24 hours in my use case, unlike 3.0.0). So 2.0.9 is as
good as it gets at the moment.
