Its better we move the version to 3.0 for glusterfs or create new package which starts with glusterfs3. Which will help users upgrade to 3.0. As everyone already knows the 3.x in not compatible with 2.x there needs to be a decision made now.

Hello,
I am the new maintainer of the glusterfs Debian packages and just found
those files:
http://ftp.gluster.com/pub/gluster/glusterfs/3.0/LATEST/Debian/README.Debian
http://ftp.gluster.com/pub/gluster/glusterfs/2.0/LATEST/Debian/README.Debian
The instructions there are more or less now obsoleted, it should be:
<code>
For debian packages please contact "Patrick Matthäi"
mailto: pmatthaei@xxxxxxxxxx
http://packages.debian.org/glusterfs
</code>
