Mozilla Bookmarks With /home on GlusterFS

Interestingly, this problem doesn't arise with Firefox 3.0.11. It does 
arise with versions up to and including 3.0.10, and _only_ when /home if 
on GlusterFS, for all version of GlusterFS up to and including 2.0.2. 
But not with Firefox 3.0.11. Weird, since the problem until now has been 
GlusterFS specific. I wonder if there is additional clean-up/flushing 
that FF now does that makes the issue not arise.
