Hmm, a fix has been in the code base since a few weeks at least, so
that you don't have to do the first ls.. rc9 will be made in a few
hours, can you check if you still actually face that issue? If so, it
might be related to some specific versions of fuse.
I think Gordon (although it could have been someone else) was saying
that the first-access glitch (and I am assuming it is the same glitch I
was referring to) was still present in rc8; I haven't tried it yet.
I'll wait for rc9 to pop up and give that a shot...
Yes, first access issue was still present in rc8. The version of fuse I
use (library and kernel module) is the patched 2.7.4glfs11.
I'll check out rc9 over the weekend.
