MPIO over glusterfs?

I like the look of glusterfs and will start testing right away with the intention of moving our web storage to it.

One question though -- I have some iscsi targets in use with a file backend. Would this be possible (or advisable)

ISCSI client MPIO
	-> target#1 is glusterfs client#1
		->AFR to gluster server#1
		->AFR to gluster server#2

	-> target#2 is glusterfs client#2
		->AFR to gluster server#1
		->AFR to gluster server#2

The reviews of gluster are fantastic - can't wait to try it.

Thanks,

Chris Twa
