Hi Daniel, Its gcc flags which are giving problem. FC9 has hard coded -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 during RPM builds for gcc flags. This is a glibc functionality to make functions behave in more strict manner under certain conditions. Likewise at "server-protocol.c:5356" the "open" call doesn't have a third argument . It should whenever "open" call is used with O_CREAT. -- snip -- ret = open (GLUSTERFSD_SPEC_PATH, O_WRONLY | O_CREAT | O_SYNC); -- snip -- Normally without -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 (Level 2) it will work.
