Hi Yann, Is it possible to attach the complete log file from client side? Also can you please provide the following information? * Filesystem operation which caused this hang. * Is any other process accessing the same file (or any other operation being performed on the same file), for which fuse_fd_cbk said that open got EINTR? In general any information describing about actions being performed on the glusterfs during hang would be helpful. regards, On Thu, May 15, 2008 at 4:58 PM, Yann Dupont <Yann.Dupont@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Yann Dupont a écrit : > >> Connection whith nx client hangs, and here are the errors on the client >> >> 2008-04-15 17:30:08 W [fuse-bridge.c:402:fuse_entry_cbk] glusterfs-fuse: >> 27570: (34) /comptes/dupont-y/.Xauthority => 8432041 Rehashing because >> st_nlink less than dentry maps >> 2008-04-15 17:30:09 W [fuse-bridge.c:681:fuse_fd_cbk] glusterfs-fuse: >> open() got EINTR >> > I took time this morning to upgrade all my setup to : > > pulteney:~# glusterfs --version > glusterfs 1.3.9 built on May 15 2008 11:36:17 > Repository revision: glusterfs--mainline--2.5--patch-770 > Copyright (c) 2006, 2007, 2008 Z RESEARCH Inc. <http://www.zresearch.com> > GlusterFS comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY. > You may redistribute copies of GlusterFS under the terms of the GNU General > Public License. > > > And I still have the exact same problem. > > 2008-05-15 12:16:20 W [fuse-bridge.c:681:fuse_fd_cbk] glusterfs-fuse: > open() got EINTR > 2008-05-15 12:16:40 W [fuse-bridge.c:402:fuse_entry_cbk] glusterfs-fuse: > 39406: (34) /comptes/dupont-y/.Xauthority => 8431732 Rehashing because > st_nlink less than dentry maps > 2008-05-15 12:16:40 W [fuse-bridge.c:681:fuse_fd_cbk] glusterfs-fuse: > open() got EINTR > > The problem still shows with the same file (no matter if I remove it, the > creation of a newer one lead to the same error) > > What can I do to try to track the bug ?? > > > Regards, > > -- > Yann Dupont - Service IRTS, DSI Université de Nantes > Tel : 02.51.12.53.91 - Mail/Jabber : Yann.Dupont@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx > > > > _______________________________________________ > Gluster-devel mailing list > Gluster-devel@xxxxxxxxxx > http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gluster-devel > -- Raghavendra G A centipede was happy quite, until a toad in fun, Said, "Prey, which leg comes after which?", This raised his doubts to such a pitch, He fell flat into the ditch, Not knowing how to run. -Anonymous
