I have been getting lots of error messages in the server logs of the namespace volume of the form: 2008-05-15 20:26:08 E [posix.c:1984:posix_setdents] posix3: Error creating file /mnt/namespace/test/zoneinfo/posix/Indian/Chagos with mode (0100644) for every file accessed by a client for the first time. There is no apparent effect on operations other than a slow down in performance. This error was one of many caused by running: cp -av /usr/share/zoneinfo /mnt/glusterfs/test/ The volume is mounted: /dev/sda2 on /mnt type reiserfs (rw,acl,user_xattr) a stat of the file in question from the server: stat /mnt/namespace/test/zoneinfo/posix/Indian/Chagos File: `/mnt/namespace/test/zoneinfo/posix/Indian/Chagos' Size: 0 Blocks: 0 IO Block: 131072 regular empty file Device: 802h/2050d Inode: 5427373 Links: 1 Access: (0644/-rw-r--r--) Uid: ( 0/ root) Gid: ( 0/ root) Access: 2008-05-15 20:26:08.000000000 -0400 Modify: 2007-09-19 18:59:32.000000000 -0400 Change: 2008-05-15 20:26:55.000000000 -0400 This is a unify only installation running patch-770 Any idea what could be causing this?
