After updating servers and clients to 709 from 702 glusterfs no longer works. The clients show "Software aborting" and then "mount endpoint not connected" The server logs show "server: bound_xl is null" errors followed by server: connection disconnected. This happens with 709 clients connecting to 702 servers as well. Reverting all to 702 fixes the problem. Harris Landgarten LHJ Technology Solutions, Inc.
