Thank you for the quick response. I am still seeing the same behavior, however, i.e. when I run make , it still dies while trying to wget iputils_20070202.tar.gz. I looked at http://ftp.zresearch.com/pub/gluster/external/ to verify and did not see that tarball in the directory. Is there something different that I should be doing? BTW, I am running Debian Etch. Tim Russell Eastern Illinois University P.S.: I keep seeing a notification while running make that says something like "you might need to make busybox setuid root...". Is this important, and could it be causing this (or other) problems? I will upload the missing tarballs tonight into http://ftp.zresearch.com/pub/gluster/external/ directory. Also I would like to say that compilation works only in debian etch. > This is in response to a message posted in your archives as: > { > From: Bala.A > Subject: Re: About gluster on 32 bits > Date: Thu, 20 Sep 2007 00:15:46 -0700 (PDT) > User-agent: SquirrelMail/1.4.9a > > // message omitted > } > > I am putting together a 32-bit cluster and have had some difficulty in > compiling the iso from the source.
