Can the roadmap be influenced by funding? Is this a mix open source/commercial type of setup or purely open source?
roadmap can be influenced by funding, but that is not a guarantee (depends on what the task is, kind of compensation involved etc.) This will be handled by Z RESEARCH Inc. The software is completely Free Software and so is the documentation. Everything is released under GPL and GFDL. This is a free software project with a commercial support/services business around it.
