Typically diskless cluster has image only on the head node. A cluster distribution wouldn't make much sense for a diskless cluster. Probably we can do 2 things: * Gluster will setup the head node image for client images and remote booting. * Provide ready-made images for each distro for diskless cluster. Both of the above approaches are very distro specific and not portable. For now, we can help you manually setup a diskless cluster on Debian. Please let us know. -- Anand Babu ----Original Message Follows---- From: "Jake L" <littlelostjake@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: gluster-devel@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: diskless slaves Date: Wed, 29 Nov 2006 18:55:56 -0600 Hi all.. I was wondering if anyone had any experience running gluster with diskless slave nodes. More specifically - or preferably =p - on a debian machine or with sources instead of rpms.
