Hi all, Now glusterfs-0.1-rc1 version is released. The tarball is available @ ftp://www.zresearch.com/pub/gluster/glusterfs-0.1-rc1.tar.gz This version is : * No memory leak observed in a high load run for 30+ hrs. * All variables are declared as stdint types. * Tested unify/transport/posix translators for more than 30+ hrs of activity. Test run included, 1) kernel extraction, compiling, removing kernel source dir. 2) continues read/write to a file. 3) cp -a /etc/ /var/ dirs (of debian distro, which contains lot of symlinks and hardlinks). 4) ls -lR of big directory. Ran all these cases in an while true; loop. This run is still continuing in our lab. This version is *not* : * Expected to give very good performance. The work for improving performance of glusterfs is already started. For more info hang around on #gluster (irc.gnu.org/irc.freenode.net) Regards, Amar Tumballi, (bulde on #gluster)
