Susumu,
  You will need a local NFS setup or have the extensions of Gluster on
your local hardisk. You can boot the master node from the kernel/initrd
which is there in the CD by putting it anywhere. Later you will have to
find the extensions correctly (either in cdrom, nfs, or manual path). In
any of the cases, gluster will work just the same.
