Details:

USB CDROMs and other types are not detected. Refer to
$LINUX_SRC/Documentation/devices.txt for device major numbers that are CDROM
driver only devices. Or come up with a better probing strategy.

As of now only IDE internal CDROMs are detected automatically. It is even
enough if we support USB CDROMS. They appear as /dev/scd1 and /dev/sr0
(obsolete interface).
