Hmmm, I'm not sure about '--verbose' as a name either, but it -is- usually used to display more information about the command(s) being executed. E.g.: -v, --verbose explain what is being done http://unixhelp.ed.ac.uk/CGI/man-cgi?mv Sounds pretty much like what we're doing, explaining what command we thing is being executed. The extra text OTOH with 'possible other workflow suggestions' doesn't quite fit in the '--verbose' picture.
