Sorry I just don't have the time to track it right now, I just experienced that on the current next, but it seems to be the same in master. $ git st # On branch master # Untracked files: # (use "git add <file>..." to include in what will be committed) # # ../a.diff nothing added to commit but untracked files present (use "git add" to track) $ git clean .. Removing ff I assume something is wrong in in the display only, because a.diff was actually removed.
