range-diff: Display new commits' diffs as well

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

At the moment brand new commits in range-diff are simply displayed on one line. However, I often find it useful to view diffs of new commits in addition to the altered diffs of the existing commits, since I'm interested in everything that was added. I could not find a flag to enable this, so currently I have to check these out separately.

Would there be interest in having a flag like, say --show-new-commits (and possibly even --show-old-commits) to enable this output?

Obviously dual-color would be somewhat redundant here, but the exact output can be discussed.
