That same person wrote, "I don't know any D-SCM", "I am also not interested in learning a SCM", and, "I didn't have to learn SVN".

The fact is that Git is *not* Subversion and it never will be, principally because it is *not* trying to be "a better Subversion". It's the result of wiping the slate clean and implementing a *fundamentally* different paradigm. There is *nothing* that could be done to Git or its documentation to cater for people like this that will only use Git if they don't have to actually learn anything. Learning Git is the (necessary) price of admission -- there's no way around that -- and it's worth the price.

Yes, the documentation could be improved in places, but not in any way that would keep this person -- who doesn't want to have to learn anything at all -- happy.
