There are 27 changes, 16 of which are negation. That's more than half,
and at least all of these need to be replaced.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "churn". No one would stop
using Git because of these single-word changes.

As for there being no distinction, there's no gradation within the
semantics of this context; this doesn't change the semantics of the
words themselves. Using "impact" when what is meant is just "effect"
or "affect" is incorrect in all such instances.

Saying "will not impact" means "will not strongly affect", as you've
already agreed. This necessarily means it might affect it, albeit not
strongly. This is confusing to anyone reading the documentation, and
is entirely unnecessary. I don't understand the resistance here for
simple one-word changes that remove this confusion. Am I missing
something?
