You may yet get a few straggling emails as others reply-all to emails that have already been sent (unless they manually remove you from the CC list). As explanation (but not excuse): The usual etiquette is to CC recent or substantial contributors to the code area, and because subtree hasn't been touched in a while, I reached back further in to the history than usual when creating the CC list.
