git-gui patches

Hi Pratyush,

I was wondering what your plans are for the git-gui patches that have
been floating around in the past few weeks.

The most important one for me is this one:

   20201122133233.7077-1 serg.partizan@xxxxxxxxx/>

because it fixes a regression that was introduced in 2.29. I was hoping
that this could be included in 2.30 to fix the regression (but maybe
that's too late already).

Related (and actually on top of that one) is

   20201124212333.80040-1-stefan@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/>

which I hope should also be uncontroversial. I think this is a
considerable improvement, and would be happy to see this included.

And then we have

   20201122194537.41870-2-stefan@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/>

which you said you would apply, but I don't see this in your tree yet.
Just wanted to make sure that this doesn't fall through the cracks.

Thanks,
Stefan
