[gitk] broken search box text cutting

Hi,

If I cut some text in the gitk search boxes, a U+0018 character is
placed into it in place of the cut text, and the text is not actually
placed into the clipboard.

I'm a Debian Linux user, running version 1:2.28.0-1.
