Nit: "duplicate" and "twice" smell redundant.

Perhaps the above paragraph can be rewritten:

    Refer readers of fetch.fsckObjects and receive.fsckObjects to
    transfer.fsckObjects instead of repeating the description at each
    location.

(Not at all worth a re-roll.)
