Thanks for the info, yes your are correct it was for the git config not github. I'm brand new to this and wasn't sure if a real name was required vs just a username. I know is some cases official names are required and didn't want to use the wrong one to start out with. I'm reading the help files/information currently and one of the first steps was to set this up. I'll set up github separately. Thanks for the info!
