I think

	[--[no-]contains <commit>]

is the usual pattern...

 	[--points-at <object>] [--column[=<options>] | --no-column]
 	[--create-reflog] [--sort=<key>] [--format=<format>]
 	[--[no-]merged [<commit>]] [<pattern>...]

... like with --[no-]merged, there.
