Thanks for noticing.  Yes, that should be corrected.

The former URL adds GitHub's own Value-Add like pretty icons and
categorization, which may be more appropriate than the latter URL.
Both are a bit more than just "formatted and hyperlinked version" so
the phrasing may want to be also changed.

	An online documentation based on a recent version of Git can
	be viewed at ...

perhaps?
