Brian thanks for responding! I'm finally able to build git completely.
Would it be possible to add the OS X dependency to the git/INSTALL
file?

Jeff

OSX Yosemite 10.10.5
Xcode 6.4 (6E35b)
…
$ brew install autoconf
$ brew install asciidoc
$ brew install xmlto
$ brew install docbook
$ export XML_CATALOG_FILES=/usr/local/etc/xml/catalog
$ brew install docbook-xsl
