This made me chuckle despite the formatting,
as we referred to it as the limes operator in school for fun

    #define limes while
    limes (n --> 0) { // n goes towards zero
        ...
    }

A quick
    grep -r "--" -- *.c |grep while
shows we actually use this quite a lot, though the "> 0" is
omitted quite often.
