Hmph, seeing "may be set to" forces me to wonder how.  Perhaps #ifndef/#endif
around it?

Also, can it be set to something like __FILE__ ":" __FUNCTION__
which may alleviate the alleged problem of "not necessarily unique"
perhaps?
