setprop support in git-svn

Hello,

I have been looking at git-svn as an alternative to Subversion. As for many
people, the lack of support for Subverison properties is something of a blocker
for me. Some quick thought suggests that one of the simplest ways of fixing
this would be to add a couple of options to dcommit: setprop and delprop, which
would add a property change changeset at the end of a commit series. setprop
could take the form --setprop file:prop=value [--setprop file:prop=value] and
delprop the form --delprop prop [--delprop prop], possibly allowing wildcards in
file names. Obviously there would be nicer ways to support this, but no one has
done them yet, and this should be reasonably simple to implement (similar to
<http://www.spinics.net/lists/git/msg113263.html>), while still being an
improvement over no support at all. To answer the question in
<http://www.spinics.net/lists/git/msg113263.html>, I think that the advantage
over using:

svn prop(edit|set|del) ARGS $(git svn info --url)

would be the shorter time window between the property change and other relevant
changes.

I would appreciate being CC-ed on any answers.

Thanks for your time.

Regards,

Michael
