Another thing that I personally LOVE as the "Version Control Czar" at my company is the fact that users can easily get a list of repo's that they have access to using gitolite. Instead of people asking me all the time "what's the name of the Foo repo?" they can just do `ssh cesium info` and get a list of repos.
