It didn't, that's what Jeff explained and what the content of
.git/logs/HEAD showed (which you chose to cut; also, please don't top-post).

It really deleted the line for 364bcc0, but when showing the reflog git
mistakenly shows 364bcc0 rather than 2993260 (for the new HEAD{@3}) in
this case.
