I'm trying to do an interactive rebase, and after editing the todo file, the git process just hangs. I was doing that a lot Friday and it worked fine. So I did the work manually using reset and cherry picking. The reset gave a strange error: Deletion of directory 'compile.vc9' failed. Should I try again? This is a dialog box in gitk. I suppose the interactive prompt of whatever sort is what messed up the rebase, and that would be a bug. I don't know if it applies to the main line or msysgit only. But, why would it be trying to delete a directory anyway? That directory had changed files in it, but it was not created as part of any commit anywhere near here.
