Best case scenario, both git and bazaar come out of the discussion as better tools. If there would never be any cross-pollination, git wouldn't have half the features it has today.
I fully agree with Andreas: I am just a bzr user (not even a bzr developer) and when looking for a decentralized VCS I also looked at git and a few others. I think I am learning quite a bit about bzr, git, and VCS in general. R.
