Yes, all three tests run exactly as you described.

In addition
   - On a protected key/cert, without configuration
GIT shows the same behaviour as without the patch.

I checked using http.sslCertPasswordProtected and also 
GIT_SSL_CERT_PASSWORD_PROTECTED. curl is 7.19.5


Just let me know if you need more checks.
