I repeat this just once more: if you add complexity, you'll have to have a compelling reason to do so. If there is no benefit for Linux users, why should they bear the cost? But as Andreas remarked, I sincerely think that there has been enough talk about the issue. It's time to see some patches, or to stop the discussion.
