It should most likely be GNU/Linux, Microsoft Windows and Apple OS X. The main reason to write Microsoft Windows is to remove the ambiguity with the term for the UI concept of windows. GNU/Linux is the preferred way to refer to this platform, as this highlights the importance of the GNU tools besides the kernel (Linux).
