Well *my* position is clear (I don't know about the others): I am
against nothing as long as it does not interfere with the normal GIMP.
If someone wants an Android version, even an Iphone or whatever, no
prob if this person contributes it.

Once it is under the bigger GIMP project's umbrella, I may even
contribute myself (same as I patched the Windows or OSX builds several
times even though I use none of them). But the first step must be for
someone else to kickstart this, and even more do the effort to come to
us with code. Because just asking or doing something just by oneself
in a corner of the web without trying to dialog with us, well that
won't go anywhere in my opinion.

So that's for me: I welcome any platforms, just waiting for their
developers to come to and work with us! :-)
