There is a similar feature in blender too: you hit "Enter", and search through actions. When you know what you want and where to find it (shortcut, menu, etc.), this kind of menu is not the most efficient; but when you are not sure, this is a great way to discover a software features through keywords. And if it can be made contextual too (depending on the position of the pointer, or if you have selections, etc.), that would be also cool. In other words, I like it. I will have a look, hopefully in the next few days. That would be nice to have a feature request on the GIMP bugtracker though (with a copy paste of the main explanation and a link to this same web page, it should be enough). This way, I can keep an eye on this and not forget. Would you mind making one? This is only because if everyone who had a good feature was to use only one's own tool, it would be impossible to keep track of all of them. This is better to always come back to the official tracker as "main point". I hope you understand. Thanks and nice one!
