That would be my interpretation of "workspace" based on how I can save/load the workspace in a CAD/CAM program I use. It allows changing the layout of menus, icons, and work area but has nothing to do with any model being worked on.

I like this. It is in keeping with several other programs I use (and have seen) where what you are working on has multiple pieces that all need to be saved so you can continue your work at a later day by reloading the project file and not have lost anything.
