As a non-Windows user I'm fine with both :) Please fix GTK+ instead of using some platforms native dialog in GIMP. That way it will work for all GTK+ based applications and on all operating systems supported by GTK+. Remember also that GtkFileChooser is the native dialog for GNOME (and XFCE).
