The gimp plug in registry is at http://registry.gimp.org/ There are 1000s of scripts, what Ubuntu gave you was just a few selected scripts gathered by a packager for Ubuntu Your distro may provide some plugins, or maybe not. You are better off installing your own from the registry. 1. Download a script of your choosing 2. Place it in your ~./gimp-2.6/scripts directory If it is a python script, place it in ~./gimp-2.6/plug-ins and make it excutable HTH There maybe other gotchas, but come back and ask if you have problems, probably best on the gimp users list, not this one.
